Nota Claims He Attempted to Save Lekau Sehoana’s Drip Footwear

Controversial music executive Nota Baloyi has stirred public debate once again with his remarks about the financial troubles facing Drip Footwear, a brand established by entrepreneur Lekau Sehoana.

In response to the news about the brand’s impending liquidation, Nota took to Twitter to assert that he had made efforts to assist in saving the beleaguered company.

He tweeted, “Kids love Drip; it had a fighting chance… I tried to help save it!”

However, his comments quickly drew criticism from many social media users, who accused him of meddling in celebrity affairs and seeking recognition.

One user quipped, “Ai… You’ve tried to save every single celebrity in this country… the self-proclaimed savior.” Another chimed in, “You should focus on saving yourself right now,” referencing Nota’s ongoing legal issues.

While his comments about Drip Footwear initiated discussions about the brand’s difficulties, the focus soon shifted to his personal controversies.

Currently, Nota is facing serious allegations, including a rape charge, and was recently released on bail of R5000. He is scheduled to appear in court again soon, further complicating his public image.
