Nigerians have consistently shown pride in supporting Tyla, while she recently criticized South Africans over their treatment of former Miss SA finalist, now Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidinma.

As a result, some South Africans have expressed reluctance to purchase tickets, with one Twitter user commenting, “Nigerians, it’s your time to shine,” while another added, “Tyla should go to Nigeria where she’ll get support, maybe ask Chidinma to promote the show for her.”
