Tebogo Thobejane’s Second Club Closed Down
Actress and entrepreneur Tebogo Thobejane has faced another setback in her business ventures as her newly opened strip club, C30, in Sandton, Johannesburg, closed down after only a week.
This marks the second time Tebogo has experienced failure in the clubbing industry.
After spending a year in Dubai, where she relocated due to security concerns, Tebogo returned to South Africa to restart her ventures.
She had previously owned Club X at The Grand in Sandton, but that, too, didn’t succeed before her move abroad.
A source close to the actress revealed more about the latest closure, saying, “It didn’t last. I think they did some renovations and tried to reopen, but had to close down.”
The source added that the club struggled to attract a consistent audience, with a recent shooting incident possibly deterring patrons.
“The clubbing business is very competitive. She tried to keep it on the low, but it didn’t work out. But there’s nothing wrong—every entrepreneur knows you try one business, it fails, and you move on to the next,” the source explained.
Despite the setback, Tebogo is reportedly focusing on other business ventures, staying resilient in the face of challenges.
